At this present time (during the Christian dispensation) what God is doing is offering to the world divine grace through the gospel of Jesus Christ. He isn’t judging the evil in this world. He does restrain evil from its full development, but it continues a constant path of ripening to its full fruits (2 Thess. 2:3-12). Simply put, God judging and stopping the evil of this world is not the operational purpose or principle of the Christian dispensation. Therefore, it often appears that the evil around us continues to prosper without any detrimental consequences. When the wicked are shown grace, they do not learn righteousness; they only learn such when God’s judgments are in the earth (Isa. 26:9-10). So the present dispensation is not the time for God’s judgment; we must wait for the next dispensation for God to correct the world. However, by this time, the church will be long gone.
