THE GLORY OF GOD IS EVER THE ENDPOINT OF ALL THINGS. THE EFFECT OF GOD ACCOMPLISHING HIS OWN COUNSELS WILL BE THAT GOD GLORIFIES HIMSELF. BY DESIGN, THIS WILL ALTOGETHER BE IN JESUS CHRIST, KNOWN IN THE VARIOUS GLORIES IN WHICH HE IS REVEALED

The different glories of Jesus Christ – Son of God, Son of Man, Head of the body, the church, Bridegroom of the bride, Messiah (Son of David, King of Israel), Melchizedek priest, King of kings, Lord of lords, etc. God’s grand design for His own glory can be seen in the following two bible passages: (Phil. 2:9-11) “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Eph. 1:10) “that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth — in Him.
